A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Hotel /Motel Manager to work for a large company based in Colesberg.

This manager must:
Ensure the efficient and productive running of the Guest Relations, Concierge, Reservations, Front Office and Housekeeping Departments
Maintain the Management of the Heads of Departments in your Division with regards to Performance Management, Discipline, Coaching and Development.
Ensure effective communication amongst all the departments in the Merino Inn.
Ensure that all information cascaded down from the Principle Manager is cascaded down to all the employees reporting to you.
Ensure that company Pledge is adhered to
Responsibilities will include:
· Provide a welcoming Hotel environment for our customers with high standards of service, meals and housekeeping which meet the company’s expectations.
· Maintain the smooth operation of the Hotel, its facilities, infrastructure, services and functions. · Manage all staff reporting to the position so as to effectively assist, train, develop, motivate and monitor their activities. · Maintain a safe, harmonious, enjoyable work place environment for staff. · To lead by example in a positive and enthusiastic manner. · Work closely with the Relief/Assistant Manager to create a strong management team · Communicate and report to senior management on a regular basis in line with company requirements. · Gain a clear understanding of the manager’s duties and ensure that these are carried out to the company standards.
