As we prepare to launch, we’re seeking a visionary General Manager to lead our pre-opening efforts and shape a guest experience unlike any other in the region.
The Role:
We’re looking for a dynamic, experienced, and design-conscious & FRENCH SPEAKING General Manager to lead this iconic project from pre-opening to full operations. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in stylish, forward-thinking hospitality spaces and understands the importance of intuitive service, flawless operations, and creative direction.
The General Manager will be instrumental in establishing the hotel as the premier lifestyle destination in Benin and West Africa, delivering both commercial success and cultural relevance.

Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Opening Phase:

Lead the pre-opening process, including recruitment, supplier selection, systems implementation, and team training

Collaborate with ownership, designers, and brand consultants to ensure the hotel reflects our vision and brand standards

Define and activate operational SOPs tailored for a high-touch, design-driven hospitality experience
Operational Leadership:

Drive the daily operation of all hotel departments (Rooms, F&B, Spa, Events, Wellness, Kids Club) ensuring exceptional service delivery

Recruit, inspire, and develop a passionate team aligned with the hotel’s creative and guest-centric ethos

Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and delivering strong GOP results

Maintain and grow relationships with key stakeholders, including local communities, influencers, and strategic partners
Brand & Guest Experience:

Champion the guest journey—from check-in to check-out—with a deep focus on detail, innovation, and elevated service

Curate programming, activations, and partnerships that keep the hotel culturally relevant and experiential

Ensure the property’s visual identity and brand presence remains sleek, modern, and trendsetting
Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience as a Hotel General Manager (minimum 3 years), preferably within boutique or lifestyle hotel brands

Demonstrated success in pre-opening hotel projects is essential

Strong knowledge of Rooms, F&B, Spa, Wellness, and Event operations

Fluent in French (required); English proficiency is a plus

Culturally aware, adaptable, and sensitive to local dynamics in West Africa

Highly design-literate, with a strong eye for aesthetics and attention to brand consistency

Commercially astute with a track record of hitting financial targets and driving growth
