Job Overview:

The Travel Sales & Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting a Senior Africa Travel Expert (SC) by ensuring seamless itinerary planning, supplier coordination, and customer service excellence. Acting as the SC’s right hand, you will be responsible for handling quotes, bookings, confirmations, and supplier communications while maintaining the highest level of accuracy and efficiency.

This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced travel sales environment.

  • Minimum 2 years of admin experience, preferably with firsthand experience in the travel industry.
  • A confident, positive, and proactive attitude with a strong desire for learning and growth.
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.
  • Results-oriented with a team player mindset.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to develop exceptional client and colleague relationships.
  • Enthusiastic, with outstanding people skills and an engaging personality to build rapport.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Google Drive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools like Salesforce (SF), Webconnect, and Wetu.
