We are looking for an experienced, customer-centric, energetic, and well-organized Banqueting Manager. As a successful Banqueting Manager, you should have excellent organisational, administrative, and customer service skills. The Banqueting Manager will be expected to effectively manage all Conference and Banqueting outlets of the hotel, ensuring all outlets are operating smoothly, productively, efficiently and profitably.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Proven experience as a Banqueting Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.

Strong knowledge of PMS Systems that include Opera S&C and Micros.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.

Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.

Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities

Event Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute banquets, conferences, weddings, and other events, ensuring seamless operations and an unforgettable guest experience.

Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate the banqueting team to uphold the highest service standards.

Client Relations: Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements, provide expert guidance, and ensure expectations are exceeded.

Operational Oversight: Manager the setup, service, and breakdown of events to ensure smooth operations.

Quality Control: Ensure food, beverages, and service standards are consistently high.

Financial Management: Manage and monitor budgets, control costs, monthly OS&E stock takes, collaborate with the sales team to maximize revenue opportunities and track daily revenue and DCP charges.
