Seeking an exceptional and passionate Restaurant Manager to oversee the seamless daily operations of all F&B outlets within our boutique hotel. This role requires an individual with a deep appreciation for fine dining, impeccable service standards, and an innate understanding of personalized guest experiences.

You will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to uphold our hotel’s reputation for excellence while ensuring profitability, team leadership, and guest satisfaction at every level.

Minimum Experience & Qualifications

  • A recognized hospitality or food & beverage qualification (post-matric).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a luxury 5-star hotel, fine dining restaurant, or similar high-end environment.
  • Strong leadership experience, with a proven track record in managing F&B teams.
  • Proficiency in restaurant financials, stock control, and cost management.
  • Advanced computer literacy, including MICROS POS and inventory management systems.
  • A refined understanding of wines, spirits, and food pairing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a guest-centric mindset.
  • Fluent in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A natural ability to train, inspire, and mentor a high-performing team.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • A deep appreciation for the art of hospitality – warm, engaging, and intuitive service.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a sense of grace and composure.
  • Own transport and flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Key Performance Objectives

  • Oversee and refine the daily operations of all F&B outlets, ensuring world-class service and attention to detail.
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor a team to exceed expectations in guest service and professionalism.
  • Personally engage with VIPs and regular guests, ensuring personalized and memorable dining experiences.
  • Maintain flawless service standards through continuous training and performance development.
  • Monitor and enhance guest satisfaction, proactively resolving any concerns or feedback.
  • Assist in curating seasonal menus, wine lists, and beverage pairings in collaboration with the culinary team.
  • Ensure all operational, hygiene, and service standards are met and exceeded.
  • Control costs and profitability, ensuring sound financial management of all F&B departments.
  • Oversee stock control, purchasing, and supplier negotiations, ensuring premium quality and efficiency.
  • Monitor and manage staff schedules, leave, and attendance, ensuring optimal team performance.
  • Uphold the hotel’s brand identity and ethos, maintaining a luxurious and personalized ambiance.
