Job Summary:
The Hotel Reservations Manager is responsible for overseeing the reservations department, ensuring efficient booking operations, and maximizing room occupancy and revenue. This role involves supervising reservations staff, implementing effective booking strategies, managing online and direct reservations, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the hotel’s reservations team to ensure smooth and efficient booking processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize room occupancy and revenue.
  • Monitor room availability and pricing strategies in coordination with the revenue management team.
  • Handle guest inquiries and special requests professionally and efficiently.
  • Maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, and online booking platforms.
  • Ensure accurate recording of all reservations in the hotel’s property management system (PMS).
  • Analyze reservation trends and generate reports for management review.
  • Train and mentor reservations staff to uphold high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints and booking discrepancies promptly.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor pricing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hotel reservations or front office operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS) and booking software such as Opera or Fidelio.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based role within the hotel, with regular interactions with guests and front office operations.
